Given the success of last month's round up, it's only fair to do the same again. Here is a selection of my favourite reads from the blogosphere over the past month...

These facts about Chernobyl are fascinating; I had no idea the government initially tried to keep the whole thing a secret!

I'm always trying to explain to people that you can choose to be happy, but can never articulate my thoughts on the matter very clearly. Luckily I don't need to anymore, as this post has done it for me.

I love this idea of making short term, easy to achieve life lists; it's a lot less intimidating than the usual bucket list.

There's a lot of great travel photos out there, but these are some of the most stunning I've seen in a long while. Just look at that sunset! If it looks that good on camera I can't even imagine how good it must look in real life.

I love this post on the idea of being present during travel, especially due to the fact it tells you how to do it as well as why you should.

I've been obsessing over markets in Southeast Asia lately and love this post on the Sunday Market in Chiang Mai, this one on markets in Vietnam and this one on the Kamala Night Market in Phuket.

What have you been reading this month?

PS. If you loved this round up, you'll love these six awesome new travel blogs.

Oh I'm definitely going to check out that list article, I do love a good list!;-) I also read a great WSJ article this month about happiness which was thought provoking, and of course my book club book "Rules of Civility" was a gem of a read!

  • Agreed on the list link! Though it's always fun to be slightly over-ambitious!

Glad you enjoyed my pictures from Chiang Mai's Sunday Market. I just left Siem Reap and somehow never made it to the Night Market, although I did have many lingering dinners with friends.

Definitely. Just love the fact it says everything I've always thought but never been able to put into words without sounding stupid!
